NZ’s most lovable rescue pet – Vote for Ariel!

Ariel is a true Lonely Miaow survivor. She was found at 4 weeks old in a rat infested garage with her Mum and brother. Ariel’s eyes were infected and both rear feet had been chewed off. She was in such a bad state that vets considered putting her to sleep but we determined to give her a chance.

It took months of treating her eyes up to seven times a day and wrapping her stumps to get Ariel comfortable. Unfortunately her shorter stump kept getting infected resulting in it having to be amputated.

Ariel has impaired vision and still has one stump but she’s such a happy cat. She reminds us everyday when working in cat rescue not to give up!

NZ's most lovable rescue pet - Vote for Ariel!

The best story will win a pet photoshoot (dig out that pet brush!) as well as a $500 hamper from Advocate and a generous $500 donation to be gifted to an animal charity of the winner’s choice.

The two runners-up will each receive a $150 pet hamper from Advocate.

Help us by voting for our very own Ariel! 🙂
