UPDATE 22.03.2019 – Our lovely Cassie was adopted today! Everyone is SO HAPPY this wonderful girl has finally found her furever home !! We know she’s going to give so much love to her new owner, and get lots in return 🙂 🙂 🙂
Hi there, I’m Cassie, the sweetest and most gentle cat you’ll ever meet! I am friendly with absolutely everyone and SUPER SMOOCHY! I am a mature cat, about 6 years old, with plenty of life left in me. I am an adorable girl, and I just LOVE human company! If you’re looking for a loving quiet lap cat that adores attention, look no further 🙂
This is me meeting one of the volunteers for the first time:
I was found wandering around a school, and lucky for me, the caretaker was concerned for my welfare and contacted Lonely Miaow to rescue me.
I have won the heart of every person I’ve met, but as I come with a bit of baggage, I’m still looking for my perfect furever home.
When I was rescued, my teeth were in dire need of attention – one tooth actually had to be removed, and the others got a solid clean. My tail looks a bit funny, quite short and bends a bit oddly – nothing to worry about though, probably the result of a past injury – it only makes me look more unique 🙂
Like many cats, I am very fond of my food!
As you can see, I walk a wee bit funny, as I suffer from arthritis, most likely caused by a trauma when I was younger that was not tended to, as shown by X-rays. I have been very well looked after while in Lonely Miaow care, so my walking has improved, but this isn’t something that is going to go away. The vet has advised I will need monthly injections of Synovan to help me cope with my condition. This is a very simple and cheap procedure, as vet nurses can do this. The cost of this monthly injection is very similar to a monthly flea treatment ($16/month approx, depending on the vet clinic).
Due to these expected ongoing vet costs, my adoption fee has been reduced to $50 only
Just like any other Lonely Miaow cat, I have been spayed, microchipped and I’m up to date with my vaccinations and flea and worming.
MY PERFECT HOME – It would be best for me to be an inside cat, as I wouldn’t fare to well if I got into a fight. My ideal home would be where I am the queen of the house. Someone with a deck or courtyard area where I am confined.
I would not suit a home with another cat, dog or young children.
If you are looking for a more mature girl, please consider me. By giving me a home I will give you unconditional love in return.
