Dumped in a bush area with her siblings, she was hungry, sick and scared. Katness adapted very quickly to foster home life although she was very sick and was a super anxious time at the start where her foster mum and vet didnt think she would make it but hung in there. After 3 months of being treated, she gained weight and got healthy again. Katness immediately bonded with her new owners, a match made in heaven!
“My name is Katness aka Nessie. I have been in my ‘furever’ home since Easter Tuesday. I love to hide under the bed and attack my dad’s toes when they peep under the valance… I don’t think he is too happy though. A couple of days a week my mum works from home and I really enjoy walking across her keyboard and chasing the cursor across the computer screen.Last week mum took me to the vet for my final vaccination shot and I was finally allowed to go outside for the first time. It was exciting but very scary! I had never experienced the wind before and it blew things around me and freaked me out so I ran back indoors to my mum. My mum and dad are trying to get me to use a hole in the door called a ‘cat flap’. I haven’t quite figured out how to push it open yet, so my mum holds it open with a wooden spoon. On Friday I got to sleep on mum and dad’s bed for the first time. I was very well behaved and didn’t climb all over their heads but stayed snuggled down at their feet. Mum said dad has gone fishing for a few days which is great because I get to have dad’s side of the bed.
