Ann has been volunteering for Lonely Miaow for around 6 years now. Firstly as the Foster Home Manager and for the last couple of years as the Chairperson.
Ann is a huge advocate for animals, particularly cats, and will do almost anything to ensure they are kept safe from harm. She is a huge believer that ‘humans’ are the cause for the huge amount of stray and abandoned cats we have in New Zealand, which is based on poor education on how to care for their cat and about the importance and fallacies of de-sexing cats in general.
Ann works as a full-time as a manager in a social service organisation that supports high-risk and vulnerable children during the day and supports others and cares for high-needs, vulnerable fur babies by night.
